Life at CFI

Graveyard Schedule:

• Salary: $22 – $27/hr.
• Schedule: 10 pm – 6:30 am (Working days to be discussed during interview)

Key Responsibilities:

• Prioritize inbound and outbound cargo to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
• Proactively prevent claims and damage.
• Promote collaboration across shifts to optimize productivity, cooler capacity, and efficiency.
• Ensure tasks meet Commodity Forwarders’ quality standards, reducing claims and damage.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and timely reports and records.
• Ensure compliance with government regulations for freight forwarding at both origin and destination.
• Complete departmental tasks efficiently and accurately.
• Maintain cleanliness and adhere to food safety and OSHA standards as directed by warehouse management.
• Enforce company policies and procedures.
• Follow protocols to minimize compliance violations (TSA, USDA, FDA, etc.).
• Ensure timely completion of air freight and trucking cut-off times.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. and pass TSA background check.
• 1-2 years of warehouse experience.
• 1-2 years of forklift experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 35 lbs.
• Able to stand for 8-10 hour shifts.
• Capable of completing freight forwarding forms and documents.
• Fast-paced work environment; must be able to multi-task and handle high-pressure situations. As a 24/7 operation, weekend and holiday coverage may be required.

Cold Storage Environment:

• Freezers at 0–15 degrees.
• Coolers at 28–39 degrees.
• Loading docks at 40–55 degrees.
