Commodity Forwarders is looking for a full time Warehouse Associate to fill a position within our Warehouse department. This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate starting at $14.50/hr. This is an excellent opportunity to join our Honolulu Branch.

Location: Honolulu, HI

Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday or Sunday – Thursday 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm

Your Role:

• Checking customer inventory upon receiving and able to communicate clearly via email and in person any damages, discrepancies or issues
• Responsible for monitoring both inbound and outbound cargo using computer based tracking system
• Comfortable adding notes within internal system
• Responsible for manually breaking down cargo to include: re-stacking, insulating and verifying piece counts for accuracy

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Eligible to work in the US and pass TSA background check
• 6 months to 1 year prior warehouse experience
• 6 months to 1 year forklift experience – manual/electric pallet jack is a bonus
• 6 months to 1 year customer service experience
• Comfortable using a computer/iPod/scanner
