Commodity Forwarders is hiring a Full-Time Warehouse Agent for our Warehouse department! This non-exempt position offers a starting hourly rate of $16 per hour, depending on experience, and provides a great opportunity to join a dynamic logistics team. Responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Execute warehouse activities efficiently
• to ensure smooth cargo flow.
• Prioritize inbound and outbound workflow to maintain customer and vendor satisfaction.
• Take a proactive approach to minimize claims and enhance service quality.
• Optimize cooler capacity and efficiency for effective storage and handling.
• Foster teamwork across shifts to maximize productivity and operational efficiency.
• Approach each file and customer interaction as an opportunity to exceed expectations and build confidence.
• Ensure all work meets Commodity Forwarders’ quality standards, keeping claims and damage to a minimum.

Minimum Requirements:

• 1 year warehouse experience
• Bi-Lingual preferred– English and Spanish
• Must be able to lift 35 lbs
• Must be able to stand on your feet for an 8-10 hour shift.
• Must be able to quickly get between warehouse and operations many times per hour.
• Complete freight forwarding forms and documents.
• Must be able to work 40-50 Hours per week and 5-6 days per week depending on season including weekend and holiday

Cold Storage Environment:

• Freezers at 0–15 degrees.
• Coolers at 28–39 degrees.
• Loading docks at 40–55 degrees.
