Ready to advance your career in logistics? Commodity Forwarders is hiring a Full-Time Forklift Operator/Truck Driver to join our Transportation team in Kona, HI! This non-exempt position starts at $20 per hour and offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a dynamic and supportive branch. Location: Kona, HI

Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday 6 AM – 2:30 PM or 7 AM – 3:30 PM

Your Responsibilities:

Cargo Flow & Warehouse Management

  • Oversee all cargo movements, ensuring efficient inbound and outbound logistics while maintaining customer and vendor satisfaction.

Regulatory Compliance

  • Ensure full compliance with government regulations for freight forwarding at both origin and destination, following all necessary procedures to meet TSA, USDA, FDA, and other agency requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Eligible to work in the U.S. and able to pass TSA background check.
  • Valid Driver’s License and DOT Medical Card.
  • 6 months of driving experience Class C vehicles.
  • Capable of loading and unloading freight from cargo vehicles and shipping containers.
  • Proficiency in using forklifts, electric and manual pallet jacks to move freight.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more to stack, load, sort, and shrink-wrap palletized freight.
  • Able to multi task
