Commodity Forwarders is looking for a part time Warehouse/Driver Class C to fill a position within our Transportation department. This is a non-exempt position with an hourly rate starting at $19/hr. This is an excellent opportunity to join our Kona, HI Branch.

Location: Kona, HI

Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday 6 AM – 2:30 PM or 7 AM – 3:30 PM

Your Role:

• Prioritize the warehouse workflow for both inbound and outbound cargo movements to insure customer and vendor satisfaction
• Make sure all freight forwarding activities abide by all government laws and regulations at origin and destination
• Follow procedures to avoid compliance violations for TSA, USDA, FDA, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Eligible to work in the US and pass TSA background check
• Valid Driver’s License and DOT Medical Card
• Able to safely driver Class C cargo vehicles
• 6 months of driving experience
• Ability to load and off load freight from cargo vehicles and shipping containers
• Utilize a forklift, electric pallet jack, and manual pallet jack to move freight
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more to stack, load, sort, and shrink wrap palletized freight
