Ready to take the next step in your logistics career? Commodity Forwarders is looking for an Export Customer Service team member at our Los Angeles Branch! This full-time role offers a competitive pay range of $19–$23 per hour, depending on experience, and a chance to grow within a dynamic, thriving organization. Location: Los Angeles, CA

Schedule:

Sunday – Thursday from 10am – 6:30 set schedule (SEP / OCT / NOV )

Sunday – Thursday from 12:00 – 8:30 rest of the year

Responsibilities:

  • Process international export documentation accurately and efficiently
  • Manage inventory to ensure smooth shipment flow
  • Book air freight space with airlines and coordinate schedules
  • Keep customers updated on booking status and shipment progress
  • Track and trace shipments to ensure timely delivery
  • Communicate with warehouse staff to coordinate freight handling

Minimum Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. and able to pass a TSA background check
  • At least 2 years of experience in an office setting, ideally in customer service or admin roles
  • Solid computer skills, including experience working with databases
  • Strong communication skills—both written and spoken
  • Capable of working independently and staying proactive
