Position Overview:

We’re seeking a reliable and professional Type 3 Driver to join our team! In this role, you’ll be responsible for safely and efficiently transporting cargo while maintaining clear and timely communication with both our team and customers. Location: Honolulu, HI

Schedule: Tuesday – Saturday 9 AM – 5:30 PM

Key Responsibilities:

Transportation & Delivery

• Safely transport cargo
• between airline facilities, ocean ports, and delivery docks, including occasional military and residential deliveries.
• Operate electric and manual pallet jacks for efficient cargo handling, with occasional hand-stacking onto a dolly or cart for final delivery.
• Secure cargo on flatbeds using cargo straps as needed to ensure safe transport.

Technology & Documentation

• Utilize a company-provided iPhone 12
• to update tracking milestones (e.g., dispatched, arrived, delivered) and collect delivery signatures.
• Capture clear document photosand upload them to the tracking system for accurate record-keeping.
• Report discrepancies or damages promptly to the customer service team and supervisor via Teams, email, or phone call.

Warehouse Assistance

• Assist in warehouse operations during downtime, such as removing insulation and gel packs from cargo and wrapping outbound shipments.

Customer Interaction

• Maintain professional communication with customer service agents at carriers and receiving docks.

Safety & Compliance

• Follow all company and transportation safety protocols. (Safety shirts will be provided.)

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Eligible to work in the US and pass TSA background check
• Valid Medical Card
• Valid CDL license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to sit for extended periods (up to 1-2 hours) while waiting for unloading.
• Comfortable with moderate physical activity, including walking and handling cargo. Ability to push and pull pallet jack with cargo loaded.
• Familiarity with pallet jacks (electric and manual).
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• 1-2 years minimum driving with CDL B
• Forklift Experience desired
